Willa Cather - On Writing with a foreword by Stephen Tennant. Published in 1949 by Alfred A Knopf. Siegfried Sassoon had a well documented affair with Stephen Tennant. Tennant has written a dedication on the front endpaper: “With kindest remembrances - and in special memory of the wonderful visit to Newark- Stephen Tennant.” Included are ownership initials of Mary ‘Molly’ Montagu Douglas Scott, Duchess of Buccleuch (1900-1993) with a note in her hand “Newark and Bowhill 1951 April.”
