First published in 1937, the title of this book speaks for itself “The Complete Memoirs of George Sherston.” It is the three books of the “Sherston Trilogy” put together into one volume. The books follow on from each other with no additional text.
The reader is taken from the experiences of a small boy in the late eighteen hundreds, through the years of his growing up. As a man he embarks on the great adventure that was the First World War. He suffers inner doubt, public protest, physical wounds and the loss of friends.
Published in America as just “The Memoirs of George Sherston,” the book illustrated is the English First Edition.
